An Encouraged Absence

My class schedule was very similar to the year prior, as it had a combination of both traditional core studies as well as musical studies. My musical studies consisted of Stringed Orchestra Rehearsal, Music Theory, and Private Piano Lessons, with Helida. Because of my training, with Jackie, former private piano instructor, in Music Theory, I was ahead of a majority of the individuals taking the class. 

Since the material covered in class was mainly review, for me, Mr. Woods, my Music Theory instructor, encouraged me to be absence, from the afternoon class, to pursue more productive activities. Not questioning his judgement, I did just that.
