In the opening scene a single bird is seen flying low in the right hand corner of the screen. This introduces the first of the three symbolic elements presented throughout the film. This element, the bird, symbolizes flight. In the the second scene a silhouette of a rotating guitar in seen. This second element, the guitar, symbolizes music. In the third scene a curtain is seen floating from side to side. This final element, the curtain, symbolizes concealment.
Throughout the remainder of the film these three elements interact to create various combinations. Such various combinations then go on to create many different expressions of emotion.
