Only a Bonus

This past November I began jamming with a friend of mine, named Bryce, from my Computer Music and Multimedia class. Initially, we talked, from time to time, durning class, mainly on things relative to class. But slowly, it became evident to me that we shared similar taste in music.

One evening, after L2ORK, Linux Laptop Orchestra, rehearsal I asked a fellow classmate, named Jordan, to critique my vocals for my Fate (Prelude) song. I did this because of his vocal performance background, and saw it as an opportunity to receive feedback on my vocal ability and breathing technique. We met in the DICIS, Digital Interactive Sound & Intermedia Studio, room where I set up my laptop to be heard through the room's monitors. While Jordan carefully listened to the vocals, for my Fate (Prelude) song, Bryce joined us commenting on the vocals, inquiring whether I had sung to it. I confirmed, that it was, in fact, my voice and then went on to express my interest in his writing style. Bryce then extended an invitation, to me, to jam at his place, informing me that he had been working on some songs that incorporated the new effects pedals for his electric guitar. He also informed me on his drumming abilities. As many of you are aware I am a huge fan of percussive sections so hearing such news was only a bonus.
