My first exposure to the Canadian Band Metric was a live experience. They were one of two opening acts for The Stills concert. Because I was so preoccupied with the notion that I was on the verge of experiencing my favorite band live, not much attention was given to their performance. Unfortunately, It wasn't until recently that I realized who they were.
With the release of their most recent album titled Twilight Galaxies, coincidentally my favorite song, I find myself growing to love their evolving sound. On more then one occasion, while watching a movie, I discovered, afterwards, that the song I was so eager to obtain was written and performed by Metric.
