Chris Liebing

I cannot recall how I became familiar with Chris Liebing and his music. Every now and then, I spend a good deal of time researching new music. Discovering him may have been the result of such a quest. Whatever the case, I admire and respect him as an artist. 

I feel that as a composer evolves, in life, so does one's compositional writing style. Such an evolution may drastically change the music style initial admirers had grown to love, potentially loosing their interest in future projects. I feel that few artists have the ability to keep initial admirers interested as well as gain new admirers. Chris Liebing, in my opinion, successfully accomplishes such. 

I've always had a strong fascination with percussive instruments and have preferred instruments that fall within the lower range of the sound spectrum. This may be the reasoning for my strong attraction to Chris Liebing's music as he often utilizes the two.

Though I have never been privileged enough to experience Chris Liebing live, I will say, that he is my favorite electronic artist and continues to inspire me with his innovative electronic composition style.
