Digitalism

I was first exposed to the German duo Digitalism while networking online. The song Pogo, from the album titled Idealism, was brought to my attention as a featured video. Curious to learn who they were I clicked on the video to begin further examination. It quickly became evident to me why the video had been featured. 

I often find my self attracted to artists who produce a sound that in someway I feel I can identify with compositionally. Digitalism's balance of music and vocals, first represented with the release of Pogo, is the primary reason for my attraction to the duo.

Now, with the release of their most recent album titled I Love You, Dude more songs, than their first album, utilize the balance of music and vocals that initially had drawn me to them. I will say without a doubt that Circles is my favorite song from their I Love You, Dude album, however, Pogo is positioned directly beside it holding as equal a value.
