After the positive outcome from the arranged meeting between Mr Lewis and myself, confronting the gradual growth of tension relative to compositional writing opinions, our individuals meetings began to move in a much more productive direction.
As my piano duo drew near completion, I found myself struggling to write a proper conclusion. It was durning one of my individual meetings with Mr Lewis that I began to fully grasp what he had been trying to express to me in an earlier meeting. He was able to review my attempt of creating a conclusion and within minutes create an alternate ending to my piano duo, much more fitting than my own. I realized that utilizing Mr. Lewis' knowledge was not a compromise after all, if was in fact, a resource that led to a collaborative conclusion.
