Employment

Taco Bell, an American fast food chain, was my first form of employment. A workers permit was required, a law that prohibits the employment of underage citizens, to legally begin work in the United States as I was underage at the time.

The location was close enough, in distance, to my Cleveland residence for me to ride my bike. I began as a cashier, though I soon became learned in many of the duties that the job required. I found myself versatile molding to whatever the day required, including dishwashing. Which I must admit was not one of my favorites duties, however, it helped me to gain a perspective and respect individuals who choose to do such work.

I am no longer employed with Taco Bell, though due to the restaurant's close proximity to my family's Cleveland residency I cannot help but pass it at least once when I return home for a visit. And when I do memories resurface reminding me of the beginning of my working career.
